How to identify wool fabrics in suit fabrics. Wool fabrics are generally divided into pure wool fabrics, wool blended fabrics and chemical fiber wool-like fabrics. The main features are as follows:

1. Pure wool fabric

01 Pure wool worsted fabric

Most of them are thin in texture, smooth on the surface and clear in texture. The gloss is natural and soft, with bleaching. The body is sturdy, soft and elastic. After gripping the cloth tightly and loosening it, there is basically no wrinkle, even if there is a slight crease, it can disappear in a short time.

02 Pure woollen fabric

Most of them are thick in texture, full-faced, soft and soft. The surface and suede are not exposed. The texture of the pattern is clear and rich. The feel is gentle, firm and flexible.

2. Wool blended fabric

01Wool and polyester blended fabric

Under the sun, there are flash points on the surface, lacking the soft and soft feeling of pure wool fabric. Wool polyester (polyester wool) fabric is stiff but has a rigid feel, and it is obviously prominent with the increase of polyester content. The elasticity is better than pure wool fabrics, but the feel is not as good as pure wool and wool-clear blended fabrics. After gripping the cloth tightly and loosening it, almost no creases.

02Wool and Viscose Blended Fabric

The gloss is dull. Worsted yarns have a weak feel, while woolen yarns have a loose feel. The elasticity and firmness of this kind of fabrics are not as good as pure wool and wool-polyester and wool-qing blended fabrics. If the viscose content is high, the fabric is easily wrinkled.

3. Purified fiber imitation wool fabric

Wool-like fabrics made from traditional viscose and artificial wool fibers have a dull gloss, a weak hand feel, and a lack of firmness. Due to poor elasticity, wrinkles are prone to occur and do not fade away easily. The strength of the yarn extracted from the fabric after wet water is significantly lower than that in the dry state, which is an effective method for identifying viscose fabrics. In addition, this kind of wool-like fabric becomes hard and thick after soaking. With the advancement of science and technology, wool-like products have also improved in color, feel and durability.
